The primary responsibility of the Mechanical Engineer is engineering support for manufacturing operations, technology and systems engineering. The Mechanical Engineer provides technical coverage and support for maintenance and repair of plant and infrastructure components and equipment.
Responsibilities
Develop preventative maintenance schedules and SLA with vendors
Ensure correct spare parts are available for continuous operation
Support the development and registration of Equipment and Instrumentation registration on CMMS systems.
Support of FAT’s, Project walkdowns, Commissioning and Documentation Handover.
Develop SOP’s and WI for facility
Support the validation of equipment, in particular HVAC and Process Air
Engineering metrics reporting and action planning.
Continuous improvement through Digital and MPS (Tier, 8-step problem solving, standardisation etc.)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility, preferably in a GMP or regulated environment
Hands-on experience with commissioning, FATs (Factory Acceptance Testing), and technical documentation
Experience with HVAC and process air systems (validation and operation)
Familiarity with Digital Manufacturing or Lean systems (MPS, 8-step problem solving, etc.)
