Systems Project Lead – Kilkenny Contractor

Purpose

We are seeking a Systems Project Lead to oversee key systems engineering initiatives, with a primary focus on a high-profile project assessing system integration between automation equipment and the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) layer. This role aims to ensure data integrity, enhance quality compliance, and eliminate yield and production losses caused by system interface issues and inaccurate device history record data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of systems engineering projects, particularly MES integration and data integrity initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to define project scope, schedules, resource needs, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular high-level updates to senior leadership.
• Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines, quality, and compliance.
• Ensure all project outcomes align with quality and operational excellence objectives.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in related area.
• Proven experience in systems engineering or project management within a manufacturing or automation environment.
• Strong understanding of MES systems and integration with automation equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and external partners.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Familiarity with quality compliance and data integrity principles in regulated environments is highly desirable.
